TABLE OF CONTENTS

Overview

The Product Filter allows the selection of parent-level groups, and the ability to drill in and select groups or individual products of that group, down to seven levels. The bottom level of any system is the individual unit, SKU level.

Hierarchies

  • The lowest / micro level is always the product SKU item.
  • When you make a selection on any level, any parent levels will also be selected.
  • Conversely, you can work from the top down to plan for one or many product categories.

Selection Indicators

The dots to the left of the level names indicate the following:

Solid Dot- This shows that Products or Groups of products have been selected or de-selected on this level.

This is to indicate at a glance that changes to selection have been made when you are looking at a different level.

Outline Dot - Nothing has been touched, everything in this level is selected (this is the default)

Region Tab

The Region Tab provides an additional way to filter the products further. This filter also works with a hierarchy system, shown by indentation. If a parent item is selected, then the child items will automatically be used to filter.

The top section shows how many stores are selected in each region

Favorites

To save a selection combination click on the star banner at the top of the filter.

When you have named and saved your selection as a favorite, it will be available from the Favourites 'Star' tab to the right of the filter.

To open a saved selection:

  1. Click on the selection name
  2. Click Open

Tot delete a saved selection:

  1. Click one or more selection names
  2. Click the 'X' displayed to the right of any one of the selection names
  3. Use the scroll bar to double-check the names of the selections that will be deleted
  4. Click Delete

Searching Products

You can search from any tab on the filter.:

  1. Click on the Search bar on any tab
  2. Enter one or more keywords or a SKU number
  3. more than one result will take you to the Search tab to show you results.
  4. Select any number of the listed search results
  5. Click on Go at the bottom of the Product Filter panel

One search result will populate the product filter with that result on the appropriate level of the hierarchy.

All of the other levels will be populated with the appropriate selected parent groups and child groups & products.

If the search returns multiple results, you will be directed to the Search Tab with a list of matches

If the search is exact then the item will be listed and selected on the Products Filter tab and displayed in the data table

Reset Button

The Reset button is at the top left of the products filter. Clicking this icon will put all the selections on every level back to all on and at the top level.
